How does the booking process work?

You search, choose your dates, and where you want to pick up the gear. Reserving is free, and you only pay when you pick it up in store.

What happens after I've made a reservation?

You'll get an email confirming we've received your request. The store reviews it and confirms within 24 hours. After the store has confirmed, you'll get another message, and you only pay when you pick up the gear. The store only gets in touch with you directly if they have questions.

When and how do I pay?

You do not pay on Pokkera. You pay in store when you pick up.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as the rental has not started, you can usually cancel or change using the link in your booking email. It is free. Check the store's rules on the listing too. If you are unsure, message the store.

How do I return the gear?

Bring it back to the store as agreed, no later than your last day.

What if the gear is damaged?

Accepted Answer

Message the store as soon as you can. Light wear is normal. For bigger damage, you sort it together under the store's terms. Photos at pickup and return help both of you.

No. You can book as a guest.

Is a deposit charged?

It depends on the store. Pokkera does not charge or hold deposits. If a store requires a deposit, it will be stated in their terms on the page before you book.
